Hey whatsup!  I started playing guitar when I was 9 and right away started this amazing band with my friend called 'Toxic Waste'. every song was completely improvised on the spot and recorded into a cassette tape \m/

When I was 11 my dad taught me how to play the guitar with a pick instead of with my thumbs, and with the guitar standing up straight as opposed to flat on my lap.

  When I was 14 I heard “Master of Puppets” by Metallica which basically blew my mind from start to finish.  After that i became obsessed with metal and really anything with a cool guitar solo.

 

Joe Satriani?  Yes.  Metallica?  Mmmmmhm.  Dream Theater?  hell freaking yes.

Started recording my own songs when I was 15 and just kept going from there.  Now I have a YouTube Channel called Chris Snyder Guitar, two EPs called 'Outlook' and 'Against All Odds', and a crap load of singles you can find on spotify and everywhere else.

 

I graduated from Berklee with a Bachelor's in Guitar in 2020, which was bittersweet because I loved it there but was also excited to move on.  I was one of the guitarists in Philadelphia-based hard rock band Pravda but now I'm a solo artist.
